About Coach Beth
I am a runner, not an athlete. I have a son. I have red hair. I like beer. I love cake. I am married. I wish I was a singer in a rock and roll band. I snort when I laugh. I love to run with music. I am a bad speller. I lived on a boat. I used to surf. I weighed over 200lbs when I was pregnant. I had fun eating when I was pregnant. I have a terrible voice. I have run 4 marathons and 12 half marathons. I cry every time one of my students completes their first 5k. I know that physical activity can change your life. I love my job.
I have also personally coached 75 non-runner students to run 5ks to marathons. I have co-coached Seattle Fit in 2005-07, training over 300 new runners to run or walk the Seattle Marathon. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and an RRCA Certified Running Coach. I love being a Running Coach in Seattle…its a beautiful place to run.
I started coaching new runners 3 months before I found out I was pregnant. Upon giving birth to my son, I decided I wanted to help other moms get back in shape by starting the Mommy Caravan. We run, walk, jog and enjoy parks and coffee – in a supportive environment that is “sippy cup throwing friendly.” Whether you are a new runner, want to get back in shape or a returning runner, my groups have room for all. Please join us on our journey through motherhood – as fit moms!
Being a mom is HARD, running is easy. Its all about YOU!
